right i am going to be putting a 200tdi in my series 3 and the only real downside i can find is the steering bar fouling the crank pulley. has nobody made a modified bar to miss the pulley?

Ive not heard of that before, have heard of the axle travelling up to far and hitting the crank pulley, not had any problems with mine so far, S2.
Front of my crank pulley is behind the centre line of the front axle.

no issues fitting a 200tdi engine unless your fitting the 200tdi axle too?

no sticking with the standard axle, until the drums make me friendly with a tree im sure ill manage
