thort the NA didn't have the wing vent and it was in the engine??? If not then it's the same as the TD which is there, but i thought for some reason it wasn't. Where's POS when ya need him - bout as much fookin use as tits on a fish that lad!

Hi slim
much easier than a 200tdi. get a universal snorkal and an adaption kit to the air filter as the intake on the air filter is larger than the flexi pipework.
got the whole kit for £115.00 from Rebel 4x4 they have a website so you can have a look. the solid pipe comes down the windshield as normal then straight down into the top of the wing. You have to line it up though otherwise you will go straight into the bolt on the top of the wing. When you re fitting the flexi pipe inside the wing take out the heater and you will save lots of time and struggle trying to get the pipe under the heater. Oh and pup plenti of cable ties on the flexi pipe other wise the drone and vibration will drive you potty.:tea:

Mines the TD N/A doesn't have a side vent. suppose the neatest way round it is to get a TD or TDi wing off fleabay and change the wing.
Or fit 1 of these.

Not my idea mate it's a standard army issue snorkel. As seen on thousands of exmilitary landrovers. It's just a suggestion for for fitting a snorkel.
I still think the best way to do it is to change the wing for a later one with the side vent in it. and fit a southdown or safari snorkel. Or buy one of these off ebay
