After hours of sanding I've finally got the tub in primer. Just needs filler in a couple of places then it's ready for basecoat and laquer

Tbh I quite like the colour when it's in etch. Might have to go for that on a future vehicle :)

Got some filler on last night in one or two places. Been a long time since I last used filler so it looks a bit rough.

There's one or two slight marks which ive decided to leave be as it could make it look worse!

Got it sanded a reprimed a little. Due to slight ripples in the panel I had to settle for using the da and sanding it as flat as I could. Still not perfect but certainly a lot better!

Looking to get another coat of primer on tonite, get it flatted tomorrow night then it's all good for topcoating :)

Fitted new sender and got it all wired in tonite. Took forever but got there in the end :)

Next job it to get the handbrake cable fitted and source some tub mounting brackets. Once I've put oil in the transfer box and rear axle I can get the tub on :) I'll keep you updated as I go this weekend.

Well I've spent most of the weekend fitting odd parts and generally tidying up underneath. Today I put the sound insulation on the bulkhead so hopefully it'll be a little quieter when driving :)

With any luck I'll get the brackets made for fitting the tub and have it on before Friday!

Not been on for a while. Been mainly tearing my hair out with the wiring but that getting there now. I'll get a load of pics up when I've got my tablet linked to my properly. It now starts off the key, the battery box is in and it actually has some working lights.

Feel sorry for the previous owner of the accident damaged bulkhead. Got power to it and it's only reading 37k!!!

Fingers crossed I'll have wings etc on before xmas
