200di vibration

ive just fitted a 200di conversion into my series landie, i must say it pulls great far better the the old petrol engine, the only problem is vibration, ive fitted defender engine mounts instead of the series ones, but the dashboard, mirrors wings ect shake like mad. i rebuilt my defender a few years ago with a 200tdi, and i dont have any of these problems i would have thought the series would have been the same, anyone got any ideas what could be the cause of all this vibration

Ive just fitted a tdi to my s2 and i used the std series square diesel mounts and it seems fine, vibrated like mad when i first started it but settled down after a short time running.
Even the wife commented the other day that she reckons the tdi is quieter than the old 2 litre diesel lump.
I also have a std m12 washer above and below the mount as i had read that the crank pulley can hit the axle casing, so the washers give it a little lift.

I assume you fitted new engine mounts? What state are your gearbox mounts in? How much clearance does the belhousing have over the x-member?
