Front bags replaced a couple years ago and inflate properly, not leaking afaik.

Rear bags replaced last year. After replacing always sat back on its ass but would always inflate when the cars started.

Now it is says "fault do not exceed 30mph"

I take it it needs to be calibrated? Can anyone local to Bromley do it?

I havnt got any diagnostics for L322s!
 
If you are being advised not go above 30mph it is likely more than just a calibration issue. If you go into the 4x4 display on the dash is one wheel showing higher or lower than the rest? If not is the suspension completely deflated?
 
Its shouldn't need calibration if only bags were replaced.
If it was sitting down on the back but popping up fine after replacement it sounds like a leak.
It has now been overworking the compressor for all this time so chances are the compressor is weak/kaput.

It could be an new issue so diagnostics would certainly help but as above look at the 4x4 screen and is it just not inflating anymore? can you hear the compressor running?

Its my dads RR currently not with it, but will be tomorrow.

Last I saw it, it was fully deflated but would raise to normal height when started. Cant hear any leaks and the compressor doesnt keep running after its inflated.

Which is what made me think its a calibration issue and has lost is default height. Then again could be wrong, RRs arnt my strong point.

How long had it been left? it will self level, if the leak is getting worse the the fronts will level to the back. The compressor will cut out if overworked, it could then throw a fault. Maybe restart later and top up tank which gives it the air to get it up the next time.

The leaks (unless huge) will rarely be heard as they are slow. you need the LR approved leak detector to find them (fairy liquid and water in a spray bottle to us plebs;))

Attached is some basic info for your bedtime reading:oops: May help or give you reason to throw up your hands and surrender🫣.

I dont know if any GAP diagnostic would at least read others fault ( I believe its the case) but not sure if thats across models.

If the rear end is dropping, there is a leak, nothing to do with calibration which should not be affected by changing the air bags.

Ok. Thing is I changed the front bags, didnt have an issue.

Dad sent it to a local garage for the rears, once replaced it didn't level off.

For clarification the compressor isnt running constantly. It fills the bags after a couple mins then stops. Doesnt kick back in, at least for an hour when driving. Also when left for a few hours doesnt kick back in.

However over night, sat on its ass again.

This will show where the ECU thinks the wheels are. If a height sensor is at fault and the car thinks a suspension arm is lower than it actually is it will let the air out of each other corner to match.

This is only a basic analysis without diagnostic.

The compressor will not run if the ignition is off, it will only level down, I.E exhaust air only.

If it has a saggy arse overnight it’s leaking somewhere.

Ok. Not had a compressor overheat message at all like you normally would.

Wonder if its one of the airlines split somewhere.

Also if there was a leak would the whole thing sit flat or would that explain why the front was always at ride heigh but the rear was sagging?

The self levelling process takes place at time intervals (in the doc) if it’s a slow leak it may only drop the front a little, the back could then go down further but pop up on restart.
As the leak gets worse or the car left longer, it could show with the whole car being on the stops.
