Steel apart from door skins I think.

These cheaper cars at 6-8K, are they completely rust free? Do you have to pay a bit more to find one with bodywork still in good rust free condition??

BTW both the cars I was interested in (with some wheel arch corrosion) seem to have sold pretty quickly

Under the rubber finisher by the windows ?

I purchased my L322 which is a 2002 TD6 HSE from a dealer online. I paid £6850 with 134,000 on the clock. However Land Rover replaced the engine at 89,000 and it had a recon gearbox and a new torque converter at 94,000. Never had a tow bar fitted and it belonged to a single lady who carried her dogs in the back. So there is very little wear on the drivers seat and the others seats are like new.

The problems with it:

Rear washer and wiper dead.
N/S front headlight wiper dead.
O/S front indicator cracked.
N/S passenger mirror had the liquid half gone.
Suspension calibration out (little high at front).
Seats not programming.
