Nobody should attempt to make a major modification to a safety critcal componant of their vehicle without knowing what they are doing :mad:

Nobody was born an expert which is why people ask and research before they do something stupid and turn a capable vehicle into a 2.5 ton death trap:doh:

Do you want to take responsibility for explaining how to lift a vehicle to someone that doesn't know rear springs are rated heavier?

last time i did a lift kit (or indeed anything i do on my car) i read about it and followed instructions.

no-one is that clever to do owt without looking into it first. :)
 
think people are trying to get him/her to think,search and if unsure leave it to somone else for saftey little knowledge can be lethal . would you say do it this way to a person who may be incompetant?

you also forgot to mention if he has a smack is his insurance going to cover a modified vehicle ;)

i aint stupid by any means, ive always tinkered with cars but my logic sed heavy injun at front, stonger springs needed..

we all make mistakes. its fairly easily rectified, and obvious when ya get it wrong..

To me it's a 2 hour job done hundreds springs shocks air bags leafs etc well would have it been hard to say check this link mate good step by step guid. The fact is he has done it may be back to front but still done
