Hi Guys/Girls
Range rover sport 2006 2.7 TDV6 HSE
So i had an unfortunate experience with a petrol station recently not admitting liability
Wife put £25 diesel in up got a receipt confirming she had put diesel in a day later unknowingly at the time i topped of the tank with £65 Diesel from another station car was running fine
Car broke down later that day got towed home by AA
It ran like a bag crap
AA guy suspected mis fuel said it was giving good fuel pressure
I opened up the fuel drain and smelt
Petrol straight away 82lts,of fuel down the drain !
Emptied the tank sucked all remaining fuel from shader valve emptied out everything !
Replaced fuel filter
Bleed the system thru with new fuel in the tank no air in the system
And now i have a non start issue !
So my question is could it be the lpfp ? Failure due to petrol or is it more likely to be hpfp
It will run poorly at about 600rpm with no response from the throttle then dies i cant get it to run long enough to check through the live data to confirm if it has good pressure from the hpfp
Im getting around 7 psi by just switching the ignition on/off at the shrader valve but nothing while cranking
Apologies for the long winded post
Any help is appreciated TIA
