THEY ARE LEFT HAND THREAD ;)

You will think twice about hacking it off when you see the price of a replacement

so how do i get the radiator out to put the second new one in then ?
i cant dismantlle from the intercooler. i have no idea how to do it and neither the knwoledge.

You must be missing something simple it is good job you don’t have a manual transmission with the engine oil cooler in there those pipes are nasty

Grille off then This panel comes off with the bolts - plenty of oil don’t snap them you need them

The fan shroud has these clips holding it on to the rad careful they can go brittle

With the grille and slam panel off you should recognise what you are doing

Thanks. Done it.
That radiator isn't leaking now. Lll.
Had to pull the bloody intercooler out to exchnge the rad again. the fan nut is not budging.
I gues previous **** slap who owed it before put loctide on that nut.

I didnt fancy doing it. But yes it worked. Just more pipes.to move and extra rubbish to find to replace. Lol

It just buggs me why this fan didn't come.off.
Guess if the waterpump comes.along one day i go to my garage and ask him for the price to change it before he starts the work on it. Lol.

He can **** about with this thing.
I don't.
And not paying him on hours either. Lol

You expect a qualified mechanic who knows his jobs to give you a price on a job, that he can using your words fu ck about on,cause you cant do it and not pay for his time...we see guys like you every day down here...

No one said he is qualified in land rover.
I had to help him doing ball joints on my pajero.
And brakes on my v70.

He has his own garage but apart from vauxhall it's all different for him.
You tell him to do it he charge you.
You ask him how much he charges for the job he sticks to the quote .no matter how much work involved.

Call it old fashioned but he makes his business better then any garage with big names around here.

And on the other hand I bring him customers he makes.money from.

And the speech let him **** about is simple because nothing is straight forward in a range rover there is always extrem complications with more work as necessary involved.

If this offends you thats up to you.
I cant help on that.
People simple dont go and accept to pay big money nowadays anymore.

Doesnt offend me read your quote I posted...
And by the way your constantly bleating about how much this vehicle is costing you everytime it needs fixed...sell it...before your next problem needs money spent...

If I sell it now I have loss.
Unacceptable. I wouldnt sell it cheap to someone and he profit out of me.

So it has to make the money worth it costed. Simple.

And it has to stop with crap that cost an arm and a leg. Which by now - i done everything which can go wrong on it.

If it wouldn't be so cheap in insurance and comfortable to drive for.miles I wouldnt have it in the first place.

Sorry but I didn't buy a car i want to keep 100 percent original and keep in a garage for well keeping. Or as a hobby to brag with it as a trophy.

For me it is a car which I personalise how I like it and drive. In snow and in rain.

I stay away from your threads for good reason. However, you hvae done nothing but whinge about cost and nuisance of owning your vehicle, since the day you turned up here. You need make up your mind, and either stop whinging , accept that Range Rovers, of all ages, cost money, and will always cost and get on with it, with a slightly mad smile. Or quit whinging, sell it, let 'someone profit out of you' and buy something else.
Either way quit whinging. Please!

I have spent nearly £5000 now on my Rangie and to me worth every penny. What you put in you get back in fun and joy. I have always loved Land Rovers, have had several with all their faults and gone for them with my eyes wide open. You need to love them or cut your losses and leave them.

Brought the wrong car mate
He's trying to run a champagne car on lemonade money,if he thinks he's done everything to it I wait with baited breath for it to bite him in the arse, again. I wish he would check his posts and not blindly trust predictive text, akin to Les Dawson playing the piano. :D:D

Oh , how I wish I have only £5k into mine :D However, she is worth every penny, including the £eek! I am about to get hit with in the next couple of weeks.
I may have, at points, been a bit frustrated because yet something else had gone, but once she was fixed, and back in my arms, be it for a day, a week, a month, or a year, the pain was soon forgotten.
I can chunter with the best of them and in my many years amongst soldiers, have seen some of the best chuntering around. I have seen us all, on these pages moan, cry, swear, and stamp our feet , at some point , but I have never seen anyone whinge like this guy.

P.s @tyke100 every vehicle is sold at a loss , from the moment it leaves the forecourt. If you don't understand that by your age, you must be a dealer.

i understand old cars costing money. but since i owed this thing its every week .and always epxensive special parts. nothing normal and easy to get.
that is what **** me off at the moment.

i understand you spend some money in when you buy it because the previous owner didnt. but its permanent since 2 month now.

when dos it actually reward you ?

Perhaps we have not been clear enough. If you want to keep the flagship, of a high marque, manufacturer , on the road , 2 decades after it was made, it will cost you. As it is a green oval, it will cost you more frequently, than other marques. You will get periods of relief, but then something else will happen. Count yourself, very, lucky , that you have , what appears to be the least expensive of the Range Rovers, to maintain. The older ones cost money to restore, and from L322 on, they cost money just to walk past.
So you've hit a few bumps since buying it. However, the overriding factor in all your posts has been, within days of you buying it, your absolute determination not to put anything other than the purchase price into it, and to whine like a stuka in a dive, every time something has needed repair. . You bought it with one known fault, which most of us know means there are more, so buyer beware. You broke the key fob, then complained about paying to fix it, and on, and on, and on. Perhaps this is a lesson for anyone else, who wants to own a 24yr old, specialist vehicle. Parts can be expensive , and some may be difficult to source. Although , again, the P38 is usually not the Range Rover that gets those complaints often!
I am so surprised to hear it has only been two months because it feels so much longer!

I have tried to be nice but seriously mate. Quit whining.
