Hi, I have recently purchased my first Landrover, a Defender 300tdi and within a week it was being mischievous. Now I find myself with excessive juddering whilst breaking and it feels like someone is hitting my foot with a hammer when the pedal bounces back up again. I have just had pads replaced all round, and the RAC seem to think that it is the passenger side "front hub" that is at fault, but someone else has said it could be a rear brake issue? Can anyone suggest any ideas? Thanks.

people only sell Land Rover's if they have a fault they can't fix... sorry!

But, front wheel bearings / hubs sounds like a good place to start, and have a look at the rear brakes... they both seem like obvious places to start :)
