Really coming together now. Your Mother in law got you Fertan? All I got was rubbish after shave from mine. Rust preventer would have been much more useful .:D. Let’s see what the underside looks like now....
Long way to go before I get to the underside just started the offside got one picture to load but uploading photos from my phone on here is a nightmare, yh handy all the adults in this house like cars so get decent presents here and there just a shame kids ain't into the cars, how's yours coming along

As I said this side is bad get quite deflated when I cut bits out and see how much needs replacing pretty much the side from trailing arm bracket to back of spring seat needs cutting out and replacing this side

Yeah, getting there... About to start the ‘b’ post repairs using the YRM panels. Will stick some pics on when I start. Got the last couple of small repairs on the bulkhead to do before that. Great that you have other members of the family into cars. My kids are a bit young yet. My boy still prefers football and his PlayStation unfortunately.:)

15 and 12 and they are into games consoles and being hermits indoors haha sounds good I've got a few more pics to put up but uploading from my phone is a nightmare might get the laptop out later

Brilliant little welder I'm tempted to convert it to take bigger bottles though, yh chassis is bad but just keep chipping away at it wait till I start on the body haha

I did look into another chassis issue I had was being able to pick one up and given current state of affairs its not really an essential journey plus there is a sense of achievement resurrecting it from the dead and yes I know it will be good for a long while once done

Your never running the little bottles?! That must be costing a fortune!! I use a 20l and that does me a good few months. Have a look at Adams gas - no rental charge

Got a bit more done today top of the offside chassis is now complete all the rot has been cut out of the side ready for a template to be made will finish Sunday as birthday tomorrow so I'm doing nothing, done for today as the sun is setting my back on fire haha

Using the largest disposable bottle I can get my hands on deffo thinking of upgrading the bottle I'm on the 3rd bottle already

I'll second for Adams gas, they are good lads, and with the advice too ...

Make sure your regulator is turned right off and doesn't leak when you finish for the day too ...

So got the side of the chassis buttoned up today all that is left is one small patch on top of chassis and stupid shape at end of the tube crossmember then the chassis can be flipped over and rest of repairs done. View attachment 208778
