My 1989 300tdi powered defender 90

Taxed until end of Nov
Mot until mid december

+3" lift kit, extended goodrich brake lines, silicone hoses, long travel dampers (pro comp), extended bump stops, snorkel and lots of other little mods, cranked trailing arms, side exit large bore exhaust (not to everyones taste!) chequer plate front wings and bonnet, rear sliding windows

300tdi lump was from a disco and the disco axles have been fitted with discs all round.

Full 6 point roll cage mounted to chassis (not to the bodywork) all crossbraced and very chunky!

New alternator fitted 2 months ago.

chassis is VERY solid and very rust free, presently painted in some rank duck egg blue looking colour... starting to flake a bit but remarkbly rust free!

Bodywork... less said the better really... it was used as a trialer and as such the front wings are battered, ive replaced the drivers door with a half decent one. Passenger one is dented (wants replacing). numerous dents all over, and the roll cage wants painting too, as it was yellow and i started to paint it black to make it look less like a diving bell.

Drivers floor is damaged from a uj failure a few months ago, prop damaged the floor. New prop fitted but i havent gotten around to fixing the floor as yet. I have been driving it around like this though. It will want a new floor plate putting in. The handbrake wants adjustment as it only just works. I have a new pair of shoes for it ready to fit as i think they are a bit fooked.

Brakes are very powerful and a vast upgrade on the original drums.

Its not a looker but it is very capable!

£1800 for it.

Itll want some work, but im being perfectly honest about it this.

One amazing aspect about it, it leaks no oil!!!!! at all!!!! (yes there is even some in it!) the heaters work, the lights work, its got a chrome gear lever knob...

Its back on original defender wheels and tyres as I have robbed the 33's it was on for my 110 :)

Im good at this selling lark eh?
