your either trolling or just not plain listening..everyone including someone in the trade is trying to tell you whats been done is very dangerous and could ultimately kill you or even worse an innocent member of the public.I don't mind people takin the **** but don't take it to far you idiot
Yes I understand that. I was unsure so asked for advice. Not once have I said I'm going to continue using them.
Like I say I don't mind a bit if abuse it's a forum, but saying "I hope they pop off the rim" just proves your an immature dick head who clearly spends way to much time behind a computer.

Serious question. What could go wrong?
I understand its too big for the rim but it hasnt peeled off the rim yet so what could change?
Because i got them for free and 16.5 defender wheels are impossible to find. I have had them on the rims for about 2 months and they have not lost a single psi of pressure.
But seriously what could cause a problem as nothing wrong has appeared so far?

A local tyre shop. They match up perfect and like i say, you would never know if it didnt have it written on the side. Beads match up perfect, have held air for around 200 miles with no problems. Only thing im worried about is dropping the pressure to use off road. Suppose there is only one way to find out.......
Haha ive used them through a few light lanes and drove on the motorway a fair few times to work. They bead up perfect with no loss of air so i personally cant see a problem with road use. You lot are over reacting

Oh and before taking on the road, i drove around a private bit of road at my work and cornered at speed, left to right etc and still no loss of pressure.
Wow this thread has caused quite a reaction lol!!!! I asked the question as I knew it was wrong but there is no problem with them holding air.
Ill scrub the .5 off and put them on eBay and hopefully one of you keyboard warriors will buy them

You must admit, this place is full of people just trying to **** people off with genuine questions (however stupid they may seem to yourself). A real shame as there is so many people with tons of knowledge who like I said, are probly nice blokes, that just get a bit carried away with the keyboard.
And this isn't my opinion from this thread, but tons of other people from tons of other threads on landyzone.
and where did I give it on this fred ? no where
