150" defender for sale??

Not the original owner. I bought it Sept 2006. I knew of it and had collected enough bits to build my own 6x6 out of a rolled over Td5 when it came up for sale at a price I could afford, not that the missus thought so. She doesn't look over the fence at the back. Since then I've fitted an army spec LT95 and am in the process of redoing suspension bushes and renewing engine gaskets and generally going through the whole vehicle. I'd like to bring it to the UK via China and Russia but I guess that's not a cheap trip.

one of the sweetest looking defender brutes i have seen, that front end looks positively terrifying. definitely want to get me one of those bush/bull bars for my 110 rebuild

Is it not one of the best post-apocalyptic survival vehicles you've ever seen? haha, you should try to get it in some movies or something! :D Love it.

I was told the guy who built it intended to drive it from South Africa back to the UK. Must have been going to smash his way home. The doors and windscreen have frames that padlock into place to prevent entry by breaking either the windscreen or the door windows and the security screens also lock in place but can be removed.
I've had this thing in mud a couple of feet deep and it drives like its still on bitumen. Strangely enough one of my series landrovers went everywhere this did but the 110 and 130 struggled a bit

£32k isnt really bad at all for a specially made vehicle... Was expecting it to be around £60k

Wonder if I could swap it for a 147. That would be brilliant for pub crawls especially some of the bush pubs around here. I reckon I could squeeze more than 11 in it.

Any pics of the FFR on the site. I used to have a 1966 ex NZ FFW and now have two S3 Aus FFR's. There's a few pics of other landies I have or had including a Td5 I picked up and repaired with bits from off the floor. I did tidy the shed up after this after it took about 20mins to get to the toilet.
