i know this has been discussed before... mainly cus i did a search, but, things change, new models come out, stuff breaks... so...

Which is the best 12v air compressor for pumping up tyres?

Budget is not a massive concern, but, don't want to be spending £100's.

There's a TMAX one thats supposed to be the best for the price - Below:

so this is the HD one:

I have the T-Maxx and it's great, more than adequate for the job of big 16" tyres. My mate has a 300 odd quid Bushranger (viair?) which is really lovely, proper top notch gear, but totally overkill unless you are looking at professional level use, imo.

Excellent, thanks, just ordered one of these:

Discovery 3 Portable Air Compressor HD Various BA 2663

It's not going to be used that much really, main reason for getting one is for the Morocco trip - post desert pump up! But, other general pumping when i can't be bothered to get the compressor line out of the shed.

Tip for you put the gauge inside the coiled air line to stop it getting smashed.
Also I have one of those digital gauges.
For a quick top up don't bother screwing air line valve adapter on as is can be held and checked if that makes sense.
