Long time browser, first time poster and fairly new to the greasy bits of Land Rovers.
My 1990 110 Defender 200TDi has failed it's MOT on a leaking power steering unit as well as a offside draglink ball joint with excessive play, amongst other little bits.
I'll be purchasing a reconditioned power steering unit and get my local mechanic to fit it along with the drag link and a few other bits but I need to check which power steering unit I need.
I believe it to be the 4 bolt type as it has 4 bolts fixing it to the chassis, am I correct in this, or does the 3 bolt, 4 bolt, 6 bolt refer to something completely different.
