110 300TDi fluid loss

My 110 is losing about 1 litre of power steering fluid a fortnight. Had a quick squint at the pump, lots of fluid around it and under the vehicle. What I want to know is, are there any common faults associated with this model, the pump unit looks like its in a very awkward place, is it a big job to replace the pump?

Same on my Disco, it is in a slightly akward place in as much as you need to get access to it, and to do that need to remove some bits, but its not that bad, once you get clear access to the front of the engine its a slip the tensioner back, remove the belt and you can get at the pump.

Check its not the pipe unions first, you can get at them from underside and check they are tight.

Thanks discomania, It was actually the hose connection which had split just at the crimp, had to buy a new hose, fitted and hey presto, now OK.
