OK, slight amendment to my first post as I wasn't given all the information. The first 30 places can be pre-booked providing folk have tickets.
There may be other spaces on the day but you will have to wait to see who turns up from the other forums who have been invited.
I will alter the list at the end up to 30 11.45am 18.3.14
Right, please be aware this is a work in progress and as said discussions have not yet reached a difinative answer of how best to sort this out.
Reccies are underway to judge the suitability of lanes but what would really help is if people stepped forward and offered to take some of the routes and offer to lead on the day. So far the max of 30 is an arbitary figure based on what is known of localish lanes and availability of those with the knowledge of them to lead.....This may change if more help is offered.
Due to slightly disappointing ticket sales so far we're speading the advertising further and while I understand the laning is a big attraction it's as an add on to the whole bash so my feeling atm is priority should go to weekend ticket holders.
This is only my opinion and not a decision. Others thoughts are welcome.
If no consensus is reached then the decision will be Accy and Roys in the event the laning is over prescribed.
I dont anticipate that anyone who wants to come purely for the laning and buys a ticket on that basis wont be able to but it was raised as a possibility yesterday and we are still trying to work out how best to deal with it.
I hope that makes things a little clearer.
For what it's worth I'd love to go laning but I'm going to be tied up at the venue and considering this is a once in a decade event I'll go another weekend
The list stands and everyone on it will be offered laning routes

There was a misunderstanding, the OP was edited and re-edited and I tried to make the situation clear.
I could have edited other posts but that would have made the later replies somewhat nonsensical
Apologies for any resulting confusion
