Basically we haven't decided a way to sort this out fairly yet.
We have offered the LZ meet out to other clubs and the dilemma is that if they show up and we say right we have 40 places but unfortunately they all went to LZ members then were going to look like a right bunch o tits! :roll eyes:
The same with you guys we don't want to leave you lot out because others have taken the places so other than seeing who turns up on the day and sorting it out from there I'm not sure what were going to do to keep it fair.
Sue, if you could change the title that would be better i feel. Until we have a solution lets keep this as a "hello, yes Id like to go laning please" thread.
First post amended AGAIN
.
We have offered the LZ meet out to other clubs .
My view, for what it's worth ..
I'm coming for the weekend, I'd like to go laning 'cos they'll all be new to me, even if probably tame and non-scratchy, so long as they're lanes I'll still enjoy 'em and enjoy the scenery .. but if I can't go laning, well so what?
This weekend, to me is much more of a social thing where we can all get together, shoot the breeze and warm toes on campfires whilst getting merry ..
It'd be good if most people came to it, but hey, if it's small and intimate we'll be more likely to all get to meet everyone there and not stay in our usual little groups, maybe ..
Like this vvvvvv? Sorry BB just couldn't resist ...I should get help
If I looked like that I prolly wunt have to tie meself up in hope
Personally I dont care one way or another whether there is laning or who goes.
However I was asked to start this thread to try to raise interest and ticket sales amongst folk who rarely leave their own bit of Landyzone.
For that reason, it is totally pointless to have this thread unless people can sign up for a laning trip.
Perhaps this thread should be deleted and only started up again if there is something to attract them to the meet
So far I think it has actually managed to discourage quite a few people and raised questions about what the anniversary meet is about if its not our own members.
