L322 100,000 mile tdv8 full history gearbox oil change??

With a pressure sprayer modified, used it a few times for the same thing, fill it cold then start the car wait until the oil reaches 40 degrees and while it’s running top it up again

You should also run it through the gears with your foot firmly on the brake that would of drawn the fluid through the various galleries in the gearbox..

Do this and recheck the level..

How much came out? and how much went in?

Do you have to move through all gears when filling as is needed on earlier ZF boxes? If you do need to do that and it wasn't done, there may have bee air in the system.
 
No leaks

Didn’t take the sump off, will do the seal when I do the sump swap

There are 2 seals that perish on the 6hp26..

This one alsways leaks and is usually the culpret for the 6hp prematurely failing as it steadily trickles the g'box fluid out as you drive along.

This one sits under the valvebody and usually cracks causing erratic shifting as well as what feels like a slipping situation as the tranny is losing fluid pressure, not many people replace this. While the sump is off you might aswell.

Just about see it in the top corner, the 2nd seal..
 
About to do another sump dump on the box, how do you guys get the car level? I can get it looking level but do you use a spirit level or anything?
