I'm gonna have to bite the bullet and replace the clutch in my 1.8 k series and am trying to decide where to get it. (I'm in northern Ireland). I have seen clutch kits for sale between £75 and £130.
Anybody able to recommend a kit.
Thanks

Have a look on the Island 4 x 4 website, there is a choice on there to suit your pocket, Plus they ship free if you spend over £50. They are a reputable company that's been around for years. Although LUK are supposed to be the dogs bollix, I would be happy to go along with AP, Valeo or Borg & Beck as an alternative as they are all OEM suppliers to LR.

Thanks guys, just been quoted £111.50+vat for LUK by a local supplier which ain't too bad, but will check the other manufacturers. The trouble with living this side of the shuck is postage is usually higher.

I used to use Island when we lived down in the ROI (Co. Offaly) and had my P38. I would make up an order in excess of £50 + VAT and got a great deal on the shipping. If the items were in stock, used to take around 3 working days. Drop them a mail and see what they can do.
As far as I know, there are no LR Independant parts suppliers (North or South) that can match prices this side of the water.
Good Luck:)

With postage included the prices from Island 4X4, Famous Four and various ebay sellers are not significantly less than from my local supplier so I will just get the kit from them.
They are supplying LUK so should be good quality and I'd rather support local business anyway.
