1.8 k16 distributer type

the head gasket failed on this so i pulled the head off bought head set and bolts, whilst cleaning the block i found that the liners had sunk.
i have replaced the engine with a running second hand one also distributor type.
The problem i have is no spark at the plugs, i have rechecked all the connections on the loom and all are ok any ideas?

Did you check the crank sensor? Distributor rotor? Earthing points?

will try the other crank sensor in the morning rotor arm and cap look ok i figure that the earth is on as the starter motor runs ok i only disconected the earth lead from gearbox and then reconected after install. I have had someone say that the flywheel might not be compatable but i thought all distributor flywheels were the same?

Sorted now broken Lt (coil feed) wire in loom remade now all is well.
