Hi,
I have a 2003 Discovery with a recently replaced engine which has been running fine, a few weeks back the turbo went as well as an EGR pipe, so I replaced the Turbo with a used unit and installed an EGR delete kit.
All seems to be running fine and the power level is very good again, but I have the following fault:
When you try to rev past 3000 revs it would Kangeroo like it was cutting the fuel supply. Taking advice that it was a Turbo preasure problem I switched back to my orginal (and vastly differently adjusted) wastegate controller module (the thing on the turbo) and although I now have a little less power the Kangeroo issues have no moved to around 3800-4000 revs.
I am now thinking that it may be the module that control the wastergate module (the unit mounted on the AC compresssor with the electrical connector and the vacuum line in and out of it).
Does anyone have any suggestions?
I have no warning lights and everything else seems fine and she runs very well again apart from this rather low limit for the revs.
Thanks in advance.
