I guess that this has probably been discussed previously. However I also guess that there's stuff happening in this area all the time (well... some of the time, it's not rocket science after all).
I'm looking to get a diagnostic tool to find every little thing that my Landy thinks is wrong in life - or at least in any and all modules.
From what I gather the GAP IIDTool is the preferred weapon of choise, yes?
And it certainly seems powerful, from what I have seen. But do you really get your money's worth?
While I only have the one Land Rover I kind of dislike the whole 'limited to one VIN-thing' and it also seems a bit dated (which matters little, but still).
We do have other vehicles in the family and it would be nice to plug in to these as well. I've looked at the Otofix for this.
Money-wise it's sort of the same, but is the functionality of the IID worth the lack of flexibility?
Thanks!
