“Breaker breaker”

Hi all! So I’m powering through a full rescue of a ‘95 Defender 90 300tdi and I’ve just acquired a ‘97 Disco 300tdi with the sole intention of robbing its motor for parts. Whilst I’m waiting for delivery I had a chance to look at it more closely and recognized the front axle appears to be the same. It dawned on me that many more parts than I had previously considered are likely interchangeable- a list of said bits would be amazing but any clues appreciated. I want to take as much off the Disco as viably possible, storage is no issue and it has brand new brakes amongst all sorts of other goodies- any advice on what to look for? Many thanks in advance!!

Look up the relevant vehicles & compare the part numbers.
Same LR part number = same part.

If you can. keep all the mechanical bits, a Disco 1 chassis is basically a stretched Defender chassis, so axles suspension steering, engine gearbox, front prop, rad, intercooler will fit the Defender.

A Discovery 1 chassis is basically a Range Rover chassis. A 90 a shortened RR and 110 a lengthened RR.

Huge amount of shared parts, could build a 100 on the D1 chassis!

Pretty much the whole drivetrain.

Is disco 300 manual or auto?
