SIIa Big Bad Bush...Help please..

Having a nightmare removing front leaf spring rear-shackle bushes from the chassis of my 1968 2a which I'm restoring. Are they directional or should I use some heat on the chassis itself? Many thanks. Chalky

You'd be better off hack sawing them out as the outer "tube" tends to rust and bond to the chassis - you should be able to get the inner tube out by burning the rubber away but wary as it'll give off nasty toxic fumes when alight

they arent directional they are just pressed in - generally it's easier to press the new ones in from the inner chassis rail side
