A new electrochromic is £180 upwards. The usual culprits have them at over £300. I need to change one of mine as the glass has gone brownish. Doesn't affect ability to see but I think it's the autodim that's failed/failing. I got new old stock for the other one several years ago at £80ish off ebay but no joy for this one, yet.
Yes i had an auto dip centre mirror go the same way.. got another off eBay

Did you use the tunnel? If not I would give them a ring. They can be helpful.

A couple of years ago I went over the Dart' Bridge and was shocked to discover they don't do cash and you have to pay online within 24 hours - which I had no means of doing so until the end of the week. When I got home at the end of the week the charge notice was there so I rang and explained the situation and they took the £3 or whatever it was payment over the phone. Still a PITA but better than the £60 fine. Fancy refusing cash or card for a toll? I mean FFS.
"Give them a ring", Ha! Good one. You can't talk to anybody on the phone any longer and certainly not for this.

It's not the tunnel, it's the ULEZ zone. The toll booths at Dartford were removed probably 10+ years ago to ease the congestion. Yeah, it didn't work!

Update to my woes is; having assumed I'd made an error, I paid the fine and then was the presented with the option to setup Autopay so I tried. The system then told me that I was already registered for AutoPay and showed my list of vehicles which included the RR that I'd just paid the fine for. So I am now trying to get my fine back as I see their system to be at fault, it was already on there and I can prove it to some degree as I have a dated screenshot of the vehicle list.

Accuracy of the system is not important, screwing the punter is. There are hundreds of complaints like yours, good luck getting it sorted.

Don't go away, LZ needs you!
Ha Cheers Keith I still have a Disco 2, well most of it..
F*** ***! 😱

I don’t believe it
I'm still in shock ;)
WTF?!

To get the L405?
Nope..

Her replacement. :)

Never thought i'd part with the P38 but it cost a fortune to run mainly insurance which was even at 24 £170 per month plus £40 tax around £200 before it had even turned a wheel.

and I fancied a change ;)

So i never too the range rover too the west coast, sent my pretty much lifelong mate and landy specialist, some videos of what it does after trying for like half hour to get the right bit of road and gear and throttle input, and the mrs over my shoulder filming the dials only does it in drive not sport or manual, he still struggled to see what i could, flared 3rd gear change cold, 5th when warm under the right conditions 30 40ish % throttle like right before the point it should go back too 4th it gains speed but the rpm pulses up (no flutter) but its like it gains 50rpm a time, rev counter moves like a clock seconds hand rather then smooth if you understand

im convinced its mabye torque converter,
Iv got 4 options
1, Run it and see it actually get bad enough to pinpoint risking the gearbox
2, Throw a torque converter in and tube seals and bridge seals and filter and fluid and hope for the best
3, iv got a spare 4.2 engine and box on its way out of the black one i sold him years ago so send that gearbox away to be reconditioned and new torque converter as the mileage is only 5k less then my range rover
4, pull it apart break it and buy another (my least favourite option)

If it isn't that bad then 1 until 3 becomes the way forward.
