using the 1888 map of our village ive just seen the plan of some old buildings the remains ive just ploughed up,werent on later maps ive seen

1840s it seems but one must be a similar age to our house as they are the same type of brick

it was a separate farm ,the actual house was demolished about 10 years ago i havent ploughed that bit as i knew it would be too difficult, i did use its spring to make a wildlife pond when i discovered it clearing the rubbish that had been left after the demolition, weve found some old door strap hinges in good enough nick to reuse, an area of forge coke,ink wells, bottles ,broken crockery by the bucket and various metal bits buckles etc,all the normal stuff
