Hi,
First of all hello to all, nice forum you have here
I have just purchased a 99 Freelander 1.8 K Series having lost my company car.
Having been looking around the existing threads on here & elsewhere i am pretty sure i know part of the fault but the other is baffling me....
I have the T/C, HDC & ABS lights (three amigos
) all lit on warning constantly - so from what i have read this would be more than likely the 'brake pedal switch' (the speedo is fine so im assuming that rules out the wheel sensor?)
The issue is that when i put the vehicle into reverse i get a high pitched beeping noise constantly - are the problems linked? i have not seen anything to suggest so but this has just completely thrown me.
Going back to the 'brake pedal switch', where is the best place to purchase? Rimmer Bros? I have had a look at Rimmers but don't seem to be able to find the part, a link by a kind soul would be much appreciated
Any help on any of the above would be fantastic.
TIA
Owen
