What price should I sell this for please ?

Its a pxss take about silver ones!!!
Not all D2 are rotten, mines an 04, very solid, 195K, just MOT,d no advisories, no rust, no rust repairs!
But ok £3500 was a bit optimistic!! But you never know!
Condition is everything!
There could be a buyer out there whos looking for a decent D2, I seem to recall some recent threads on here about it!

I'm sure I read somewhere that it was something to do with the DNA of the rust beetle and the fact that it can only see in 2D and is coloured blind.
Apparently Silver to them is the same colour as their favourite food.
Dont take this as gospel but I'm sure its along those lines

Mine is silver as well. Chassis is fine or the age, 17 years old. Body aint as good as OPs.

I paid £1200, wouldnt get as much now. Mine is a V8, Td5 sell better, but that may have the injector loom issues and so on.

Maybe a bit more if the chassis sound, fair play, the interior and underbonnet are very clean!

No, cost me in total £1750 to get it sorted for an MOT, had a few more problems, sold it a few months later for over £4k.
Was a couple of years ago now.
But it kind of hamers home regardless of how it looks on top, you need to get under and do a bit of poking
