1. I loose the tax classification of it being a commercial vehicle from HMRC's point of view and have to pay 35% tax on it.
2. The D3 has done 125k, although it's got loads of life left in it, it's not a bad time to replace it
Right, it has been decided... once the accountant has confirmed that a Utility is ok as a business vehicle (I know the station wagon isn't, but, the current belief is that the utility is ok) then we'll be putting the much loved D3 up for sale and ordering a brand new shiny 110...
Next will be negotiation skills time - I want a full expo. roof rack, tow bar, snorkel and winch bumper... question is, how much can i get thrown in for free by Land Rover...!
I am really hoping the D3 goes to a proper landy home - having toured Morocco in it and having a "no price is too much" approach to the servicing and preparation of it, it really is a great machine.
