couple of pics of me stuck at muddy bottom had to use a tree about 200ft away to winch off so with use of strops snatch black and winch finally got up the hill




we did try ground anchor but there was too much mud backed up under the front of the disco to move itlol looks like you had far to much fun shame you did not have a portable tree

I thought I was a masochist for finding the technical challenge of recovering a vehicle as much part of the fun, but clearly not.
Did the Defender behind have similar issues? or did it take the escape route, as it were?

that was my mate jase behind he tried the punch to the right of me but couldnt get up the hill but he didnt take the route thru the mud,but still had to winch up the hillWas wondering that myself.

nope thats what there for..only downside is it took over an hr with the jetwash to get it looking half cleangood pics.some one who ent frightend of getting dirty.:crazy_driver:

nope dont use emis that a steel winch wire
a winch blanket would take the sting outta of it.Have you joined your straps with a shackle?
I was under the impression this was a NO NO and you should loop them through one another with somthing suitable such as long grass, towel etc to stop them binding together?
