Hi, I have been placing a couple of posts on your forum referencing my parts and it was suggested that I get in touch with you to ensure you are onboard with this.
I just recently bought a 2001 td5 discovery 2 auto.
If I put my foot down, the revs pulse and it feels as if there virtually no power at all, almost like the turbo isn’t working or it’s in limp mode or something. It has been fine the past month i’ve had it and only just started having this issue. hoping it’s nothing too serious! any suggestions?
Alright bud I like that 200tdi alternator bracket you made i don't suppose you can either make me one or send me other the spec so I could get one made please such a good idea saves all the aggro I'm fancing with a build I'm doing using a defender top mounted turbo cheers pal
own a Landrover TDI 1996 Pick up. The clutch pedal just fell through to the floor
Believe the clutch has gone. ?? Could anyone agree or otherwise.
Then can anyone inform me an estimate cost of things to come ??
Hi all
I'm based in Stockholm and just recently bought a Discovery 2 model 2000 for use at our country house in the south. Very well kept....on the outside and interior. It turned out the mechanics were a bit more complicated. The usual problems with leaking windows and sunroofs. ACE problems a s f . I still believe in it though.
Hi. I've had a FL2 for 10 years, had the usual problem at first, rear diff recall, front diff bearing went, slave cylinder failed so new clutch aswell then the master cylinder went, that was a nightmare.
Had all the fluids changed but the last couple of years on cold mornings the gears are tight to engage but once warmed a little they are fine.
Has anyone one else had this problem.
Hello all, new member... Ive had a 04 discovery 2 for the last 5 years which has been a steep learing curve to say the least but suppose thats half of the enjoyment / pain... and the reason i bought one...
For my money I'd check/clean/buy a new MAP/Iat sensor. After having disconnected the MAF and run with it like that to see if it helps.
(I have had the same problem, diagnosed on here when I gave live data (Foxwell) while driving it. New sensor fixed it.)
