Thanks for the replys chaps, I've topped it up, been for a 20min run and seems ok, not lost any coolant. The expansion bottle does have cracks around the top although it doesn't look like water would escape from them? Ill order a new one anyway.

Hi All I'm wanting to change the inlet manifold gasket on the wifes 1.8 FL. I should be able to do it as usually do my own diy on my own jap cars but as i've not had any experience with the k-series..here comes the silly question, where is it!?. Thanks for any help! ED

thanks for the info, its only lossing a bit, going down to just under the min level after ive topped it up to just under the max level, maybe after 2 weeks, ill take a look over the hoses. Daft question...where the rad cap, would it be easier to fill straight to the rad? Am i being blind or...
