Ive ordered a new crank sensor but i tried one from my friends td5 and it did not work

And yes it was running perfect then engine management light came on and it cut out and has never started since.

Thanks everyone for the replies,has twin gel cell batteries fully charged so cranking speed good,will check fuel pump as i supect that may be the problem

No faults relating to engine,just about abs and air con as it does not have that fitted,yes all the guages drop and the relay seems to be working ok,i tried swapping the relay and that made no difference either
