Changed the air and oil filters along with an oil change. Got to renew the oil sump pan due to a previous owners bodged sump plug repair. Received box of newly ordered bits to play with at the weekend!! Previous bonnet lock hell now resolved thanks to you kind folks!!

Agggggh done all you have advised..still not budging, no movement up or down. Will do as BoomerV8 advised once I have it open.

Pulled till i nearly ripped me fingers off...still no joy. I'm close to using the hammer..tell me where to hit it!!

Ahhh will go back out and pull it harder. Bonnet is in good nick so didnt pull too hard!

Been an owner for only 2 days...so first of many questions .....have re-aligned the bonnet by about 4mm, shut it down to check it now it wont open. Release catch is fully open but bonnet wont budge. Anyone know how to open the bonnet without causing damage?
