    Think we might be getting somewhere. A slight pink tint when dipped with a peice of white paper. Just seen there is only about an inch in the bottem of the res. How full should it be? (a lot more than that i'm thinking). The note on the top just says fill to level but can't see any obvious...

    Ok Drain plug and filler pipe (also checked the small one not sure what its called) have not been disturbed. Where would i find the fuel return pipe. Please excuse my ignorance it's my first landy. Adam

    Hi all Latest update. I have checked the filler cap ands thats locked. Tried the paper test and found no leaks. The landy isn't parked near a pikey camp. I'll have a look at the filler pipe for any leaks and also check the drain plug again and get back to you in a bit. Adam

    Hi, I'm hoping someone can please help. I have a defender 90 200 (J reg) that in the last week is drinking diesel. It's just used nearly half a tank to do 40 miles. Not driven it any different to usual. At first I thought the fuel gauge was playing up but when I topped it up the other day...
