Evening landyzoners!! Does anyone have anymore gen on the byways on the plains? I know a few were shut due to the mass amount of rain we had months ago. What I've looked up on the net isn't helping. Basically I think that there should be a green lane session on Sunday the 28th over the plains...

Does anyone know how to remove the rest of the gasket? I've used a scraper but it seems like it just doesn't want to move, a fair amount came off with the gasket but there is still some stuck on

Well I've managed to get the cylinder head off, just need to clean the top of the block and get the rest of the gasket off, its well and truly on there!

Well I've decided to take next week off work to try and get the mechanics out the way on the disco then crack on with the body work. Firstly I need to find where the leak around the oil filter housing is coming from, after doing some research it can be coming from about 4 different places...

Well, I had a busy day yesterday, the boot floor is almost finished but my mate ran out of welding gas so thought I would change the a frame ball joint and the bushes, swap the old nasty brown transmission oil out, replace the panard rod bushes with poly and swapped out the leaky vacuum pump...
