I've just had a load of work done on my disco, Both sunroofs out (head lining down etc) resealed against roof, new rubber seals. Service, all transmission oils, egr bypass kit, rocker box seal, water pump gasket and belt, and new rear suspension bushes. Wow ! I had to dig deep for that one...

I've had this on mine, if its not been used for a while the rubbers stick to the glass and dislodge when opened. I just re-seated the rubber seal closed the roof, it worked for me. I will when dryer take the rubbers off and glue them back in place to stop it happening again.

Thanks for that, I've also got an egr blanking plate. Did the de-cat make any difference to your drive? Lee

:confused: I just brought a non-cat front pipe for a 98 300tdi will this swap over as a direct replacement for my front pipe with a cat ? (that I don't want). It was only a £10 on good old flee bay. Thanks Lee

All the work was covered by the warrantee, the parts were Landrover original. All done now. The next thing is an EGR blanking plate. :)

Drilling a small hole will let the water out, is one way. Try taking the unit out of the car let the water out, air dry it indoors and re-seal the unit where it is bonded together with some clear mastic or sealant, then the only way the water could get in would be through the bulb holder. May be...
