Near side front wheel showing oil

As it appears to be coming from the very top I would be checking them top swivel pin bolts are tight, then having a look at the brake pipes/hoses.

    Oil leak 200 tdi.

do not put too much sealant on it that it oozes inside the crank case, overtime it can drop off and block up the oil pick up strainer.

    Sport Oil pump

The engine is going to be fubar. The oil pump casting fails, this then allows the cam belt tensioner to fall off its mount, and then everything inside the engine gets a little bit to close for comfort. Cost of repair may outweigh the cars value.

Discovery sport 2016 exhaust gas temp error

The code reader says it all to me. Plus understanding after treatments systems is an art in itself, with many variables to catch out the tech never mind the diyer.

    Big End bearings

Might be worth fitting an oil pressure gauge in the cabin, I would prefer the mechanical type, but if you have a leak things can get messy!

Is it worth swapping out my worn 2.25 D for a 2.5 D

They really are very good. A totally shagged out 200tdi is still better than the older engines. But and it is a big but, they are pretty noisy inside the cabin, Glencoyne engine mounts certainly help, cheapest fix is them squishy earplugs that take the harshness out of the noise. As for economy...

    Disco 2 Chassis repair /replace

Get someone who knows what they are looking at to assess it first, as it may be beyond economical repair. Just about every commercial garage hates old land rovers, as repairs always develop into more work.

    Battery health testing

The only old ones I have used were the ones you push onto the battery terminals themselves whilst looking into the cells, voltage over 10 and no bubbling in the cells meant it would take a charge and go again. Like this At work we were testing my 20 quid cheapy against the bosses brand new 70...

Disco 4 (LR4) Is this a death rattle

With the finance co behind you I reckon you will be okay, maybe some deduction for miles covered etc, but should get your money back, one of the only good reasons to get finance in my opinion.

    Bonnet unable to open

Always worth getting someone to pull the release whilst you push down/pull up and or thump the bonnet with the palm of your hand.

300tdi idols, revs but the second it’s in gear..it’ll die after 10 meters.

Has anyone used Before n After, based near Rugby, for waxoiling.

You will like chris, he is a grade A personage of the highest order, just see his website to see for yourself. He is even a member on here who checks to see what is said when his name wilts up. The main problem with any chassis wax is it is not a one off treatment, it needs touch ups annually...
