I have just found the correct spec of the car. It's a 2003 1.8 Kalahari SE not sure if this makes any differance or not :p

It's a August 2003 on for around £10,000 it looks like a basic 1.8 to me. Apart from the seats which are half leather and half a sueude like fabric. has done just over 17,000 miles. It has all service history which has been done by the main dealer.

The dealer said that it come with a 12month warranty would that be enough ??

The main Landrover dealer does not have any TD4's and if they did they would be a little out of our price range at the moment we have also looked round other dealers and they don't have any freelanders at all ! so it's the 1.8 or nothing

I think we may have to leave it and find some thing else. The main reason for chageing the car is to try and save money on fuel this does not sound like the thing we should go for !!!!! :mad:
