    Hi Thanks for your reply. It's a manual gearbox. It's hot all the time, particulary on a long run. Particularly noticable when the heater is off and you are trying to cool the car down. Any more ideas, anyone? Has anyone else noticed this with their Disco? thanks

    Did you go into the Barclays branch or have you a number for them? I have an 18 year old son (passed his test) who would love to drive my Disco when he's home from Uni, if I could get it insured for him... at a reasonable cost that is....

    Update - needed a genuine LR part. You couln't buy the flex hose on its own. Spare came with two flex hoses and a solid pipe between them. It was easy to fit. Stopped making the horrid blowing noise and it's far more powerful... £83 pounds for the part no labour... I wish that I found the...
