    Thanks Mantamad. I hadn't realised that if I put a newer engine in the mileage would change on the dashboard to suit the new engine. Is that what you are saying? Are you allowed to change the mileage? I thought it was very illegal. You know 'off with his head' type of illegal. Cheers...

    Hi Mantamad, Thanks for your response. Its done 75k miles. Would you consider that sky high? Should have said that the mechanic has found 2 engines. one at 2.5k and one at 2k (ouch!) Cheers Berserkerphil
