    Many thanks for this. I was actually wondering if there was a mark on the fan belt pully as the mark on the crank pulley is obscured by the fan belt pully.

    Does anyone know, or know where I can find, the timing marks for the 1.8 k-series petrol. Specifically the marks on the fan belt pully as this is obscuring the marks on the cambelt pully on the crank.

    Freelander Starting Problems - Overfuelling

    Yep. It goes like this: I try to start it and it won't I disconnect the injectirs. It starts on the fuel that has been put in from the first try. I plug the wires back on and it starts. That is why I'm convinced it's over fueling. Might be a lamda sensor problem but I'm not sure.

    Thanks for getting back to me. Itruns ok with revs and I think it's running on all 4. Having to disconnect fuel electrics to start it, points me to overfuelling. just not sure what's causing it.
