where can i get a transfer box for my 89 defender
hello all i am a bit new to the old landrover scene and would like some advice on transfer boxes as mine has gone crunch click bang stop and i need a new one. i have a 1989 90 and have been quoted £620 for a new box which seems like a lot as there seems to be lots of cheaper stuff on the net...- sammy27

knocking noise when gear changing and accelerating
just bought my first defender [89 90] and there is a painful knocking noise when i press down on the gas and change gear. i have deduced from this site that it may be the cv joint?? any help is welcome as i am a novice!!- sammy27
