err6299 is just a screw in rotor oil filter, you can change it in a minute. The part might cost £8 or so but labour should be negligible.

Lol I did think about it, but what's anyone going to do with a random defender chassis number? You could invent one quite easily :) Ordered the TVC100010 , hardy spicer brand, not H/D, thought £7.50 sounded a decent price! From what I can see the part number is for a range rover / disco, but...
