I'm new here so not sure if this has been mentioned/requested before but a market place section would be good where people can place selling/wanted threads :)

    Model Info

Can anyone give me a link to a website containing the Defender model history? I'm hoping to buy one at some point this year but when I'm looking I start getting confused when people start saying 'county', 'station wagon' and 'hardtop'!! They all seem to look the same

Yeah when you say it like that it does sound quite expensive. Whats Dave Kirby's username? Can't find him on the members list. Thanks again mate.

Lol you seemed a bit shocked at the price! Thing is I don't have a Landy yet hence why I've been looking at some tuition using the centres vehicles. I'd be happy just to sit in with somebody and watch them drive for now like. I'll defo contact Dave Kirby and see if he can help :)

Hi redhand. Yeah Tong is literally down the road from me but their tuition seems expensive in comparison to the one at Robin Hood's Bay. Might contact them though to see if they can offer a similar package to the £99 for 2 hours like NYOR

    New Here

It's the way they look and the fact that I'm in love with the yorkshire dales where they are all over the place thats making me want as defender as opposed to a disco! Of course disco's are tempting as they are sooooo much cheaper lol

    New Here

Hi everyone, new here and unfortunately I don't have a landy to tell you about! I'm hoping to buy a Defender at some point this year but hoping to learn as much as I can about them before parting with my cash. As it stands I've never even been in a Land Rover let alone owned one and taken it...
