NY Off Road

I'm thinking of doing 2 hours off road tuition with these guys, just wondered if anyone has done this or been there pay and play? Is it any good?

just go with some guys off here - as a passenger if yu want to get an idea.

Tong AKA Parkwood is closer than the whitby site which is ok but a bit cramped if it's the one I'm thinking of.

You could try Yorkshire MudRunners. yorkshire-mudrunners : Mudrunners 4x4 off road/green lane group good bunch of peeps and get out a lot.

Hi redhand. Yeah Tong is literally down the road from me but their tuition seems expensive in comparison to the one at Robin Hood's Bay. Might contact them though to see if they can offer a similar package to the £99 for 2 hours like NYOR

FFS ya don't need to pay owt to learn how to drive offroad just join a local forum/club and go out with them or even join Hull4x4 Hull 4x4 off road club • Index page and go to KORC or Tong next time they go out and get one of them to teach you the ropes. If ya PM Dave Kirby and tell him I recommended him to ya. He'll happily sit in with you and give ya some advice & tips.

Lol you seemed a bit shocked at the price! Thing is I don't have a Landy yet hence why I've been looking at some tuition using the centres vehicles. I'd be happy just to sit in with somebody and watch them drive for now like. I'll defo contact Dave Kirby and see if he can help

£50 an hour is a rip off rate.

Yeah when you say it like that it does sound quite expensive. Whats Dave Kirby's username? Can't find him on the members list. Thanks again mate.
