    Hello from Banbury/ Now Towcester

When we were over in Byfield, I always took 'Doris' to EH Douglas for servicing or any work (can't recommend them enough). Just opposite them was a Porsche specialist. Not a Porsche guy myself, but there were some fantastic looking specials to be seen flying up and down the lanes :)

    Hello from Banbury/ Now Towcester

No, I didn't convert the P38, the guy I sold it to has, and it's still running really well apparently. At least it gets round any potential EAS issues. Boddibgton's lovely, as are many of the villages in this part of the world, I often fish over that way. There's also stacks of landy owners...

    Hello from Banbury/ Now Towcester

Onwards and upwards... Although I don't post much (Nicely pointed out previously by one of the members...), I do continue to follow the forum, and very helpful it is. Anyway, thought I would update this. I have just taken delivery of a 2013 110, and sadly had to let my old 'Doris' go...

Pressing the alarm button just starts it clicking or stops it, but doesn't activate the alarm

    Won't start

Just popped to the shop in my 97 110 defender, started this morning as it always does without an issue. Jumped back in and nothing, almost looks like there is no power to anything, but the red led on the dash is flashing. Am busy checking fuses but any guidance would be a huge help!

Thanks all for the help, just wanted to follow it up and say the pump pictured earlier in the thread made it a two minute job :) :)

    Changing gearbox oil

Sorry folks, I know there have been many, many oil posts, but looking for some clarity. Have changed all the other oils without a problem, but am stuck on the gearbox oil, what have you found to be the best way of getting the new oil in? Stupid question I know, but couldn't figure it out...

Thanks Gary, I'll keep looking, think I have a sensible solution sorted.

    Snorkel question

Ouch! Didn't realise there was some kind of qualification before you were aloud to ask about fitting things, or that you'd be judged about what you might or might not intend doing once you did! I'm sorry I do not qualify, or 'might fjord rivers'. The reason for asking the question is yes, if...

    Snorkel question

Having looked at a multitude of snorkels, including many today at the billing show today, I wondered are there any for the 110 defender that do not need holes to be drilled into the windscreen surround? I only ask as I have a nice original 98 110 CSW, and would rather not start drilling holes I...
