How To Remove Door Lock Barrel From Classic RR

I need to remove the door lock barrel from my 2-door RR. I've removed the trim, but there's only a ridiculously small hole providing access to the barrel. Even then, you can't really see the item. The door has no electric windows/wing mirror. Any advice much appreciated.
